Pain is the last thing your body tells you.

Here's what most people try first. Rest. Ice. Pills. A stretch from YouTube. Maybe another chiropractor. It gets better for a week. Then it's back.

Now it's not just your back. You skip the run. You sleep badly. You say no to things you love. And you start to wonder if this is just how it is now.

It isn't. You shouldn't have to sit out your own life.

I used to hate running.

I found chiropractic the way most people do. I was hurt. A jiu-jitsu shoulder injury that wouldn't quit. Chiropractic got me out of pain fast. Then it showed me something bigger. Your body heals better when you fix the cause, not just the symptom.

That was over 15 years ago. Now I'm training for my first 100-mile race. I get adjusted two to four times a month. Not because I'm hurt. Because I don't want to be.

I've helped patients for more than 10 years. I'm also a dad, and my own kids get adjusted too. You won't get a front desk or a callback queue. You'll get me. More about me.

Dr. Nathan Moller, D.C., chiropractor in Chelan. Doctor of Chiropractic, University of Western States.

And if I can't help you, I'll tell you. Then I'll send you to someone who can.

Same dayWhen you're hurting

Here's how it works.

  1. 1

    Find it

We talk first. Then a detailed exam, including muscle testing, to find what's really causing your pain. You'll know what's wrong before we do anything about it.

  2. 2

    Fix it

You get a plan built for your body and your goals. Clear steps, a clear timeline, and no pressure. Many patients tell me they feel better after the first visit.

  3. 3

    Keep it

As you heal, we add stretching, strength, and nutrition so it stays fixed. Body, fuel, and mind. That's how you stay in the game.

When I first met Dr. Nate I could barely walk let alone run. I've ran several 50 Mile Ultra Marathons and thought I may not get to do that again with how bad my back and hips were out. Dr. Nate and I worked thru my issues and got me back out running again!
Chris S., ultramarathon runner

Chelan chiropractor FAQ

What happens at my first visit?

We start by talking. I want to know what hurts, when it started, and what you want to get back to. Then I do a detailed exam, including muscle testing. I'll explain what I find in plain words and tell you if I can help. If chiropractic is the right fit, you'll get your first adjustment that day. The whole visit takes about 50 minutes.

How much does the first visit cost?

Right now, new patients get a 50-minute exam, a consultation, and their first adjustment for $130. It's normally $400. After that, you'll know exactly what your plan costs before you start. No surprises.

Do you take insurance?

I don't bill health insurance, with one exception: auto accidents. Here's why. Insurance often decides how many visits you get and what care is covered, and that isn't always what your body needs. So instead I keep my prices simple and affordable, and memberships bring visits down to $60 to $66. If you'd like, I'll give you a superbill. That's a detailed receipt you can send to your insurance for reimbursement. Some plans pay part of it, some don't. Hurt in a car accident? I do work with auto insurance, so call and we'll sort it out.

Can you see me today?

I keep time open for people who are hurting. Call (509) 881-4255 and I'll do my best to get you in the same day. My hours are Tuesday 2 pm to 7 pm, and Wednesday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

I'm visiting Lake Chelan. Can you help?

Yes. Many of my patients are here on vacation. Call and I'll try to see you while you're in town, so a sore back doesn't ruin your trip.

Do you work with athletes and runners?

Yes. I'm an ultrarunner myself. I help runners, triathletes, lifters, and weekend warriors recover from injuries and keep training. Read my chiropractor FAQ for runners and athletes.

Do you adjust kids and pregnant moms?

Yes. Care for kids is gentle and adjusted to their size. For pregnancy, I use techniques made for expecting moms and adjust right up to the due date. My own kids get adjusted too.

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most people find it comfortable. Some feel a little sore for a day, like after a new workout. If the popping sound makes you nervous, tell me. There are gentler ways to adjust, and patients often tell me I'm gentler than chiropractors they've seen before.

Is chiropractic safe?

Chiropractic care is considered safe for most people when it's done by a licensed chiropractor. I start every new patient with a full history and exam. If your problem needs a different kind of care, I'll tell you and refer you to someone who can help.

Will I have to keep coming forever?

No. Your care plan has a clear end. After that, some patients choose a membership to stay ahead of problems. That's your call, never a requirement.
